TX Board Vet Posts: 218 Group: Members Member #52 Joined: January 8, 2008	Flew to San Diego Saturday morning to drive it back to DFW. Got home Sunday. Maybe you saw it on Craigslist? I'm still diagnosing stuff. Originally a NY car but there's uber minimal rust, thank God. The rest of it is pretty swanky! At the beach near San Diego, just after I bought it. Benson, Arizona. Have to replace: Mudflaps all around Full front-end bushing set Might need a new ABS/tone ring sender for the rear end (if the speedo starts flaking out again although it's been super happy) Driver's side rear tail light lens Need front seat leather worked on by a pro (any suggestions??) Need valving for 3rd and 4th gear worked on in the AW71L Other stuff: Need to install external temp gauge Full assortment of LED rear lights (new relay, also here, here, here, here, and here) Could probably stand to rebuild all 4 door panels and Dynomat them while I'm at it Permanently fix all of the instrumentation lighting! here RH doors (or get new skins put on) FR fender Door mirror covers are loose/broken Replace missing drivers side under-steering-wheel pedal kick panel Need to sort-of rebuild the hatch-door interior panel New rear-door hinges New pad on brake pedal Done: headgasket set (intake, exh too) head bolts (use ARP-here and here) Yank the ignition coil and brake-clean the heck out of the top New rear shocks (Bilstein touring) New rear springs (IPD overload) New spring perches (volvo) New oil seperator & oil seal (volvo) Get the anti-summer-heat-and-sun tint job done E-codes (probably from here or from here) Front shocks (HDs rear and Bilstein touring front? TX Board Vet Posts: 218 Group: Members Member #52 Joined: January 8, 2008	Did some wrenching on this today. That NY rust really attacked the exhaust. I decided to take the turbo off (before head gasket repair) for the possibility that that might be the location of the exhaust-gas-in-the-coolant. I'd have to remove it anyways. And, of course, I ran into problems.. 3 bolts on flange for downpipe-to-cat are totally f-ed, will be yanking that and getting new bolts probably (they're welded on methinks.) then removal of the charger. Any recommendations on that--I can either take the entire manifold off (doesn't look that hard), or I can probably unbolt the four between the manifold and the turbo.. which is best? I've been PBlastering it on and off today.. So it should be nice and soft.. RD

TX Board Vet Posts: 218 Group: Members Member #52 Joined: January 8, 2008	Head is 17/1000" warped. They'll be doing an oven straightening of the head. Dropped off some little head bits today (4 lifter hush bushings and 4 valve oil seals.) Getting closer... RD

Have exhaust studs on order atm, and will be ordering the head studs from ARP directly.. And have to order all hoses, etc, from FCP Groton. Soon it will be done! RD
