Looks good, Jon.
Had to roll the fenders?
I used 205/60-14's on 14 x 6 Pentasports (Virgo clones) and Laguna's for years on 140's, even on the 3/4 in lowered '68 140, never had to roll fenders. The 1" difference shouldn't interfere, esp on stock suspension.

What's the offset on your wheels?

Nice! I likey. It's probably harder to do burnouts though with the added traction, so that's a minus.

It looks pretty tight. Really doesn't surprise me.

They have fit on all the others, but with the car lowered, they rubbed the tiniest bit. And that was just me. Add another person and luggage, guns and ammo...I like my tires wearing on the tread. Of course, everyone knows running 14's on a 140 is a no-no. I didn't measure the rear springs but the fronts are 4" shorter uncompressed than stock. My mud flaps in the rear drag on speed bumps.Take a close look at the front of Spence's unlowered 142 directly behind the Gecko.

And Peter, as for burnouts? Such as they are...easier now as these tires are nearly bald. Manual steering's a biatch, tho. Much easier w/ the narrow tires.

I didn't realize you lowered it that much, was stock at the Mid-sommar meet, right?

14"s are not a no-no on a 140. Probably the most accepted choice for autox, works quite well. Need to take a grinder and remove the casting seam along the outer edge of the front calipers, about 1/16 inch and everything is good. ;)
I did go through a few gearboxes over the years, though.

Yes, it was lowered in Tulsa...it's not that noticible until you have it side by side with a stock suspension. In the above pics, even discounting the distance further away, George Downs' wagon is sitting higher.
