Due to ROLLING mags quarterly release dates and the first issue of the year being released in early to middle February, it'll be too last minute to give everyone notification, so we'll need to provide ROLLING with at least a solid date and location to lock in for the Nov/Dec issue which means we have to give them that information by Oct. 1st. Link It's on Lake Austin (on the river below Manchester dam) off loop 360 to 2222 and a left on City Park Rd. It's a small park with some nice roads around the hills, like 2222 towards Lake Travis. It's close to Austin downtown, and a lot of hotels nearby. It's also close to County Line BBQ, some of the best in town. There's a group hall/area there that can be reserved through the city. Somebody down there can scope it out for us? i came across that park while looking at lake travis, great park, its on the lake and we can reserve a spot for rather cheap price however the only downside to this park is 1 its not covered--so if it rains, it almost did day of this year, we are SOL, everyone will have to run to their cars for cover... (that is however if we do a bbq at the park like we did this year 2 there is an $8 entrance fee per vehicle the roads around it are good for cruising though, i had planned a rough route.. i looked into other parks around the lake and most charge an entrance fee... I'm making a video tomorrow, but this is the map of it. (Spicewood Springs Rd.) My explanations wouldn't do it justice, so I'll wait until I post the video. I was speechless when I was done, then turned around and did it again. Rob, wanna come up here and grab some lunch/plan this thing?
